Wange Blocks

Wange is a chinese building block brand manufactured by the Wange Industrial Co.  This company also brands it's blocks as Ligao.  Their building block designs are pretty ancient which is why I've not bought any new sets for awhile now.

You can see all of their product offerings on their website: https://www.wangetoys.com/

Find Wange sets on Aliexpress

Here is the list of the Wange building block sets in my collection.  These were some of my very first alternative Lego building block sets that I started to collect.

I bought most of my Wange sets from eBay before I discovered Aliexpress.  Looking back the Wange sets were really poor quality but they were relatively cheap in comparison to Lego bricks.  The majority of the sets were vehicles are city themed.

Most of my Wange sets have been cannibalized for their brick parts so not many of the original sets are still around.

The links below means that the set survived and I did a review of it.

  5. Friend bought the Burj Al Arab Hotel of Dubai set and about through it out the window.. He kept telling me, it kept blowing up.. He finally bright it to me. The angles will not line up without many other parts "Blowing Up" and will not line up. I love and have several sets. I also work for a structural engineering firm and this project will never be finished.. The pieces that are provided in the kit. The math just does not add up..

  6. I got the St. Basil’s Cathedral and there are so many left over pieces! The steps don’t tell you when to open new bags, and I didn’t even use a bag in the end! So weird
