Wange 40615 Automobile Carrier Set Review (Not Lego)

Hello and welcome to Its Not Lego, my blog that reviews all the not Lego building sets.  Today we will be reviewing this Wange Automobile truck set. It's set number 40615. Not sure why they call it an automobile carrier, when clearly it's just a cargo truck. This is my first set by Wange. The design of this truck is a close copy of Lego's Truck and Forklift set 7733 that came out in 2008.  While Lego's truck was green, the Wange version is red.

You get one mini figure with the set.  The Wange mini figure isn't that compatible with Lego minifigs, as the arms and legs are completely different.

Here's the mini fig from behind.

The rear trailer can be detached and the front axle pivots.

Here's the side view.

Here's the rear view.

There's lots of storage room inside.

The cab roof can be removed to put the mini figure inside.

Here's the whole set with more pics below.

Here's the instruction manual. The set has 310 pieces.  Build quality is average and the mini figure sucks.

Brand: Wange
Set: 40615 Automobile Carrier
Number of pieces: 310 pieces
Minifigs: 1
Would I recommend this set?  Yes, but only if the price was right.

Wange brand Lego style Villa 34052 Building block Set Review

Hi again.  I have another building set to show you today.  This is 755 piece Wange Villa set 34052.

It is almost a knockoff of Lego Creator set 4954 Town House.

After I built the house according to the Wange instruction booklet, I decided I wanted to update the location of the windows and doors.  In the above picture, I've added some extra details like the lamppost, the mailbox, the bicycle and some bushes.

Here's a side view of the house, which uses a lot of the smaller windows.

Another side view.

The back of the building is unfinished as per the set.  I guess you can add furniture pieces later.  You can see the height of the first and second floors from the two batman mini figures.  The original set came with a much larger baseplate and you could build a side yard and fence.  In my build, I used a smaller baseplate and didn't add the side yard.

A few more views of the side of the house.

This set was a much better build than Wange Villa set 32052.  That set had yellow brick walls whereas this set has tan bricks.  The Lego 4954 was discontinued a long time ago and now it costs a few hundred to buy it.  On the other hand this Wange set only cost me about $30 USD from AliExpress.  I liked this set quite a bit as it has lots of potential to make different buildings.  In fact, I might buy another one of these sets in the future.

Brand: Wange
Model/Set: Creation Villa
Set number: 34052
Number of pieces: 755

Wange 51013 Police Helicopter building block Set Review

Today's block set review is for the Wange 51013 Police Helicopter.  It comes with two and a half mini figures and a total of 206 pieces.  It's a 3 in 1 set which means you can build it 3 different ways.

This is the smallest helicopter brick set that I own.  It's only got room for one mini figure inside it, but they don't have any hatch or opening top to put the figure inside.  I'll talk more about the mini figures later.

The helicopter is white and blue predominately, with a turquoise windscreen.  The chopper blades swivel and flip up.

Here's the bottom view.

And here's the top view.

It comes with two ladders on the side and a searchlight on the bottom.  It also has a side mounted camera on the left side of the unit.  There are three printed pieces, the nose says Police, the tail says 03 and the cockpit instrumentation.

The set also comes with a mini car and an Indiana Jones like figure, don't ask me why.

You get a police officer and half a pilot. Yes, only the top half, although they could have given you the whole figure.  Pretty pointless.

Here's the two main figures.  The torsos are nicely detailed on both of them.

The figures are not lego compatible.  Their heads are square and the legs are molded differently.

Plain backside of the police figure.

Side view of the Wange mini figure.

Here's the police figure in relation to the helicopter.

This is the version of the model that I built.

You can also build it as a police plane.

The third model is some kind of police snowmobile I would guess.

They give you a lot of spare parts to build the three different models.

Here's how the front of the instruction manual looks like.

I don't think this set is a knockoff of a Lego set because I couldn't find any Lego police helicopters that look like this model.  Build quality is decent enough.

Brand: Wange
Set: 51013 Police Helicopter
Number of pieces: 206
Mini figures: 2 and a half.
Would I recommend this set?  Yes, except for the mini figures.

Wange brand 32052 Villa Building Block set review (not Lego)

Horrible, just horrible.  That's how I feel about this Wange Villa set number 32052.

Here's the instruction manual.

The manual and the 458 pieces.

The base plate is really flimsy and the house won't stay on it.

The bricks won't stay together very well, especially the roof tiles.

See how crappy the roof looks?

I don't like how yellow the bricks are either. I was hoping that they might be more of a tan colour.

The two gray cylinder poles are useless.

Definitely not impressed.

I didn't either bother finishing the set.  I'll probably tear the villa down and reuse the pieces somehow.

Here's the other villas in the Wange Creation series. There's a total of six buildings.  I ordered two other villas from this series around the same time, so I guess I'm stuck with them.  I don't recommend these Wange villa buildings unless you have too much hair or really want to test your patience.

Brand: Wange
Series: Creation Villa
Set: 32052
Number of pieces: 458
Would I recommend this set?  No way. Save your money.
